Company History
Founded by the Molloy family in 1947, Molloy Bros. Moving and Storage has a long tradition of providing high quality residential moving services to customers throughout the New York/ New Jersey region. During the postwar boom years, the company expanded and gained a solid reputation for providing customers with exceptional professional moving services. In 1990, T. James Molloy, son of one of the company’s founders, acquired Molloy Bros. and serves as CEO and President. Molloy Bros. is now part of the Advance Relocation Resource Group of companies, which is comprised of Molloy Bros. Moving & Storage, Advance Commercial Movers, Fitco and Record Guard.
Molloy Bros. has represented major van lines from the 1950s to the present. In 1998 the company joined forces with Mayflower Transit, one of the largest and most well known name in the moving business. Mayflower recognizes Molloy Bros. as a leading agent and has presented the company with several awards including the Admiral’s Club Household Goods Award, the Million Dollar Club $4,000,000 Plus Award and the Customer Service Heart of Quality Award.
Today Molloy Bros. is one of the largest agents for Mayflower. This relationship gives customers the advantage of working with an experienced local professional moving company as well as having access to a vast network of agents across the United States and abroad. This depth of support is unmatched in the industry, and follows the Molloy philosophy of managing a client’s move from day one through completion. To ensure all clients are completely satisfied, the company offers an industry exclusive President’s Hotline.
